Get Involved – Join an IACCPHP Committee!

Take your impact further! Serving on an IACCPHP committee lets you:

    • Connect with peers and share your expertise
    • Shape initiatives that affect homecare across Illinois
    • Build leadership experience and influence the future of our association



Billing Committee Tackle payment challenges, share proven strategies, and strengthen billing practices. This committee meets monthly to resolve issues with MCOs and ensure fair, efficient reimbursement for all members.

In February, our committee addressed: 

  • Molina claim denials for homemaker services for hospice patients
  • IMPACT issues
  • HHAeXchange compliance rates

Membership Committee Help grow and energize our community. The committee meets monthly to plan educational initiatives, membership strategies, and opportunities that connect and support IACCPHP members.

The Membership Committee is currently working on:

  • Power of Membership event
  • Preparing to launch a leadership academy
  • brainstorming additional educational opportunities


Legislative Committee Advocate for the Community Care Program and seniors across Illinois. Thanks to IACCPHP’s ongoing partnership with the Illinois Department on Aging and our dedicated advocacy, starting January 1, 2026, Community Care Program providers will see a $0.75/hour wage increase.

During the 2026 session season, our team is working on a number of priorities including: 

  • Monitoring the Governor's budget break down
  • The Direct Service Worker reimbursement
  • Planning our Advocacy Day on April 15th


Why It Matters

Leadership in the home care industry is critical because it directly impacts the quality, safety, and accessibility of care for vulnerable populations. Leaders identify opportunities to improve services, implement new technologies, and expand programs to meet evolving community needs.

In short, leadership ensures that home care agencies not only survive but thrive, delivering high-quality services while shaping the future of care in the community.
