Leadership Academy

The Illinois Association of Community Care Program is proud to partner with Tonya Y. Miller, PT, DPT, Founder of TYM Coaching, to offer the Leadership Academy—a member-exclusive comprehensive, virtual leadership development experience designed specifically for home care professionals.

In today’s home care environment, leadership is more important than ever. Leaders are navigating workforce challenges, supporting teams through change, and ensuring high-quality care for clients and families. This program is designed to meet those realities with practical, real-world leadership development.

Through a combination of on-demand learning, a Talent Insight Assessment, and live interactive sessions, participants will build the skills and confidence needed to lead effectively, communicate clearly, and support strong, engaged teams.

Program Duration: May 4 – July 3, 2026

Program Structure

  • 6 on-demand modules (30–45 minutes each)
  • Talent Insight Assessment (included)
  • 3 live interactive sessions (30 minutes each)
  • 3 months of access

Live Sessions:

  • May 7 at 11:00 PM ET
  • May 20 at 12:00 PM CST
  • June 17 at 12:00 PM CST

Investment: $399 per participant

About the Instructor: 

Tonya Y. Miller, PT, DPT is the founder of TYM Coaching and a nationally recognized leader in healthcare leadership development. With extensive experience in home care operations, executive leadership, and academic program development, she brings a deep understanding of the challenges facing today’s home care workforce.

Her work focuses on helping leaders build confidence, strengthen communication, and create meaningful, effective team environments that support both staff and client outcomes.
