Both the Illinois Department on Aging (IDoA) and the Illinois Department of Human Services – Division of Rehabilitation Services (IDHS-DRS) have begun communicating with Homemaker and Home Health Care Service (HHCS) providers about the upcoming implementation of HHAeXchange (HHA) for the Community Care Program (CCP) and Home Services Program (HSP).  

The official go-live date of March 2, 2026 marks a significant change for home care agencies across the state.
